MLB 2008.

Having witnessed several games this season, and seen more on TV, several things have come to light this season.

1st.

There seems to be a lot of bats breaking this season, I dont think it is the pitching it seems to be the quality of the wood.

2nd.

I it me or is the pitching in most cases below par from previous years, particularly when teams get down to the lower rotation. As witnessed by the number of RBI's scored from relatively second rate batters.

3rd.

And third and possibly the most worring is the fielding, Doubles and Triples seem easy to score this season, and normally good fielders seem to be letting plays slip-by.

Any YANKEE fans come join the new group called BEST New York Yankees Club.

Has anyone seen "The Bronx is Burning"? What did you think of it so far? I think it is pretty well done with historical events that are accurate. I don't really know how much of a ego Maniac Reggie was but his comes off bad in the show.

I think you forgot about the Mariners in the AL to win either their division or the Wild Card and the Rockies could win the NL West or Wild Card. The rest I agree with.

what about the braves, i would argue they have just as much chance as winning the division as the mets, and therefore, the world series. the tigers need to be in there, as do the indians and the braves.

That's what many would've said about him last year in the playoffs when he made moves such as pinch hitting So Taguchi in a HR situation (resulted in a HR), pinch hitting Chris Duncan against a left handed pitcher in a HR situation (resulted in a HR), and benching Scott Rolen in the NLCS. Whatever method he uses seems to work apparently... I've just learned to trust his questionable moves.
