I know I tend to neglect this group a lot, but back to back wins by Matt Kenseth to start 2009 after a winless 2008 cannot be ignored. The first was the Daytona 500 win and that was not only the first for Matt Kenseth, but the first for any Roush (Fenway) Racing driver ever. Kenseth now becomes the fourth driver joining the King Richard Petty, Cale Yarborough, and my most hated Jeff Gordon as the only drivers to win the Daytona 500 and the next race following. Not a good weekend for my favorite Matt Kenseth or Jamie McMurry, but what a finish for Carl Edwards winning his second race in a row and of the season. Greg Biffle wasn't far behind him finishing third and David Ragan really surprised me with his top ten finish in seventh place. Edwards is now the points leader and looks to have a promising season ahead. Biffle is now in 6th and has a good shot at the championship. Congratulations to Carl Edwards for winning in California. Matt Kenseth did well in that race as well. I believe Greg Biffle is our point leader after a top 10 finish in the Daytona 500 and a good finish in California. I haven't heard much on Jamie McMurry this year and the only thing I've heard on David Ragen has been running Matt Kenseth into the wall at Daytona. This group hasn't been as active lately. I kind of lost interest in last season when it seemed like Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson were winning the last I don't know how many…
