Underrated Running Backs Make Huge Splash in College Footbal

With running backs leading the Heisman race this year, I decided to do a little research about each one. Of the top 5 running backs in the nation (Darren McFadden, Steve Slaton, Mike Hart, Ray Rice, P.J.Hill) only one(McFadden) was a 5-star recruit. The others were all 3-star recruits or less. Most were ranked down because of size(Hart, Slaton, Hill, and Rice)but they have all reached the top of their respective games and now fight for the coveted Doak Walker Award.(Darren McFadden is the returning winner).

Ranking the 11 starting Big Ten QB's

With college football season upon us, I decide this was a good time to rank all 11 starting Big Ten QB's

1. Chad Henne (Michigan, Sr.)- Sorry Ohio State fans, but Henne is the real deal. With veteran QB's Troy Smith, John Stocco, Drew Tate, Drew Stanton and Bryan Cupito graduated; Henne becomes the top signal caller in the Big Ten. With 70 career touchdown passes, he is 3 away from breaking John Navarre's school record and 20 away from breaking Drew Brees' Big Ten record. WR's Adrian Arington and Mario Manningham don't hurt to have either.
