Last night the Cavs gave rookie Daniel Gibson the first start in his NBA career and he made the most of it. 18 pts in 36 minutes on 50% shooting. Very, very nice Daniel. And they beat the Raptors! The Raptors always seem to give the Cavs a hard time and last night was no exception. They got by on the strength of ten three-pointers, three from Daniel. Teams are starting to play a lot of zone against the Cavs, and quite frankly, they should. It's easier to keep Lebron out of the paint and creating for everyone else in a zone defense. The remedy…

Things learned from the Knicks game

First thing we learned is that Damon Jones can show some offensive prowess from time to time and not just talk a big game. Holy Damon Jones. Go DJ! I have not seen this Damon Jones since he put on a Cavs uniform. A career high 7 three-pointers and more impressively, he actually took the ball to a basket a few times. Very Un-Damon Jones like, but the Cavs need it. Something else that was confirmed, Eric Snow is a train wreck. He is an insult to PGs playing in Europe and the D-League. Lebron quickly erases his "walk-off"

I had the pleasure of attending the Cavs game last Tuesday against Atlanta. Yea, the one where Lebron "walked-off" the court with some seconds left in overtime. Lebron got multiple jabs at his character afterwards and I think Saturday's game was proof that they were all unnecessary. Down by 18 in the fourth quarter and 25 in the third, Lebron rallied the Cavs with 25 second half points. ``Any time I'm on the court it doesn't matter how many points we're down, we always have a chance to win.''
