Cards Get a Big Road Win

The Arizona Cardinals played by far their most complete game of the season on Sunday, dominating the Seahawks from beginning to end, 27-3.  This was an important road win for a couple of reasons.   First, it helps the Cardinals re-establish themselves as the team to beat in the NFC West as they rise into a first place tie with San Francisco.  The 49ers still hold the tie-break by virtue of their season opening win at Arizona, though, so there is still work to do there.   The second reason it is such an important victory is that it comes one week before a trip to…

I'm observing a brief moment of silence this morning.   I'm a lifelong, long-suffering Arizona Cardinal fan.  21 years ago today, the fat SOB Bill Bidwill packed up his team and moved them out of St. Louis.I try to be a forgiving person, but I doubt I'll ever forgive him for this.   I know there are Arizonians who are thrillled he moved them there (okay, mostly I'm talking about Eyeshield), but it still represents the most heart-breaking moment of my sports-fan life.    The Cards will always be part St. Louis to me.Anyway.  In honor…

The Division Champion Cardinals. I've been waiting for that since the 1970's. I became a die-hard fan in the mid-70's, right at the end of the Don Coryell era - the Golden Years of Big Red football. I was thinking today about all the bad memories I have endured as a Cardinal fan since then. You are missing a clinic on offense Rings the Bears don't know if they are gonna RUN or pass and Kurt has all day to throw, and Fitz is not being able to be double teamed every play because of run

See what happens when you run the ball 2 Tds in 2 drives why because we are showing the run and the Bears have no clue what to do 51 yds on 6 carries, just gotta show the run, maybe I should coach this team cause Whiz suks

I bet they Run the ball at least 30 times...He has got to stop leaning on Kurt cause he ain't getting it done everything he throws is underneath and has been very innacurrate downfield

I think I told you this before but I went to a game when Roy Green played both ways against the Pats and has an int and a TD reception, he wasn't a full time rec then

Yeah......that was the first year in AZ, and all their games were still broadcast back to STL, so I could still see them.

I KNEW we were going to the playoffs that year until Lomax got hurt......man that was painful. Cliff Stoudt took over and we went 0-5.

That was a great team that fell apart after the injury. Stump Mitchell, JT Smith, Roy.....all those guys......man, I loved Lomax. Gene Stallings was the coach then......ah the memories......

Thats awesome Rings you are the best I love when you get mean, the think I remember was the next year we were 7-4 and in 1st place in the East then came Neil(portland St) Lomax injury, we were never the same after that
