Holy fricking Jesus, was this game crazy or what?? I mean, how do the Steelers blow a 13-point lead in the 4th quarter..and still wind up pulling it out at the end??     I'm still shaking my head over this.     Hey, it's like I said in my previous blog here on the HTTR site: my gut told me Pittsburgh would win, but I had personal reasons for wanting Arizona to shock the sports world. In fact, I was all set to send the e-mail to my uncle in Phoenix ready to scream out loud.     Then, Santonio…
We're less than 48 hours from the start of Super Bowl XLIII, and as I promised (responding to a TD), my explanation of why I feel we're in for a shocker for the 2nd straight year.     That's right, gang. Though my gut says the Steelers, I'm going with Arizona to pull this one out. But this isn't so much about the Cardinals per se, as it is more of a personal wish.     For my uncle.     My uncle lives in the Phoenix area, and has since around '74 or so. He used to be an pilot for Western…
"...and we let 'em off the hook!!!"     After seeing the Redskins damn near give this game tonight against the Eagles, you'll forgive me if I feel deja vu has reared its ugly head yet again.     On a "MNF" game @ RFK back in '74, I watched Ken Houston bulldog Walt Garrison at the goal line to preserve a win over the Cowturds. Tonight, LaRon Landry did #27 one better. He stopped the potential tying score less than a foot from the goal line.     It shouldn't have come to that.    …

Haha, well, installing your system and getting everything set for the season comes before the defeating of the Cowboys. I think Zorn will be a pretty good coach, but we have to give him time to do what he does.

I agree with YardYoder...I hope Zorn is the guy, thats my biggest worry. I'm not quesitoning the draft at all, the real question should be can this guy coach. I'm very skeptical about him, but everything I've heard and seen so far has been great...I like his personality and his ability to demand a persons attention.

One thing I havent liked so far about him: I didnt hear him mention anything about beating the Cowboys in his intro press conference or at all for that matter.

The draft was great besides the lack of offensive lineman taken, but the receiving corps just became a whole lot better with Kelly, Thomas, and Davis.

We made out like BANDITS, guys!!!
The one time this place shows ANY action in the off-season, is this weekend.
Take a safety to fill Sean's place with the 1st pick, and then take it from there.
