As most of you know, Chipper Jones is my favorite athlete of all time.  He is my sport's hero(Him and Dale Sr)

I've went as far as saying Chipper is the best third baseman of all time and a better hitter than ken Griffey Jr, and I stand by my opinions.

Chipper tore his ACL making one of the best defensive plays of his career against Houston, and is done for the season, and there is a good chance that he will retire after the season.

I guess it is fitting that Chipper and Bobby go out together.  Afterall, you don't think of one without thinking about the…

This is my all time Braves team since the move to Atlanta. If they have spent less than 4 full seasons in Atlanta, then I will not use them. Please comment your changes so we can discuss them and get this group active again. C- Javy Lopez Joe Torre and Del Crandall where in Milwaukee, so they can't be used.  Javy was the Braves catcher for most of the 14 year division run, and set the single season record for most home runs in a season for a catcher.   1B- Fred McGriff  In my opinion, Fred was the piece that the Braves needed to win the World…

If they can keep the prospects. Let's face it, Chipper Jones will be retiring in the coming years. Troy Glaus is a one year filler. Derek Lowe is aging As is Tim Hudson. The Braves have a solid group of young players on the Major League team to go with several big prospects. On the team now, they have the following solid young players C- Brian McCann2B- Martin PradoSS- Yunel EscobarCF- Nate McLouthutility- Omar Infante SP- Jair JurrjensSP- Tommy Hanson If the Braves can keep these players in the organization, the Braves starting 8 will look…

a 4-6 road trip; not good, but considering the many miles the Braves have logged on the road, i'd say it could've been worse.

two big problems i noticed during this last stretch: lack of situational hitting at the most inopportune times...AND, pitch location. i don't care which team you're playing, any ball left over the plate is gonna get hit hard.

damn, is this an 'all or nothing' offense or what? driving me crazy.

J. UPTON and JOHNSON!! man, what a return to the desert for those two.

and what about McCann swinging that hot bat too?

taking 2 of 3 from the reds in that tiny little park is no easy task. i'm happy with it, even if Kimbrel did blow it the other night.

even with the 'B' squad (Jim and Don on the radio called it that) on the field yesterday, the lineup still looked solid. liking this roster more and more as the days go by....
