  Dissecting and Assembling a LineupOctober 2007Matt Imbrogno             There were two relative weak spots in the lineup for the New York Yankees this season. Those spots were the leadoff spot and, understandably, the eight spot. While they did very well leading off an inning, .287/. 358/. 478/. 836, the splits for the Yankees 1 spot weren't that great. On a dark and gloomy day, off the coast of the Chesapeake Bay, I find myself sitting in a groggy, dimly lit room. No explanation of how I got here, nor do I care to have one.
