The Red Sox 96 and 66 season could not have started off better for this team who is now making their second world series trip in four years. They got off to a great first month of baseball with a 16-7 record which had them out in front of the Yankees by a decent margin. They would continue to burst the gap open between them and their longtime rivals until August where they lost 13 games in that month including being swept by the Yankees. As we all know, the Colorado Rockies are now in the 2007 World Series. How this happened just seems impossible. Not just the fact that they were able to win 9 of their last ten games of the regular season and then to win in a crazy playoff game against the Padres in 11 innings. But also the fact that they are 7-0 in the playoffs and are looking so dominant that many people have already got them winning the world series no matter who they play. Right now the the Red Sox are in the driver's seat, but don't count out the Rockies just yet. The next 3 games are in Colorado and there's no DH, which means someone is going to sit on the bench. Either David Ortiz, Kevin Youkilis, or Mike Lowell will sit. it would not surprise me if the Rockies win the next 2 games because both games are toss ups.
