All We want for the New Year 2009 is a legitimate playoff contender that will not embarrass themselves on "National" television!  With that said, it will take a lot of guts on the part of Mr. Bowlen a.k.a. the Broncos' owner who is also deaf,blind and mute!  How else can you explain the rapidly downward spiral in which this team seems to find itself at the end of the 2008 N.F.L. season?  Shame on Mr. Bowlen for blindly sticking with a coach that has lost his motivational skills, I.E. see Sunday's performance against the Chargers!  Anybody see a trend…

This question goes out to "ALL" of fan nation, What should I do with this group?  It is not active and the only member blogging on it is me.  Should I dissolve/eliminate it?  Or let it be and watch it die painfully and slowly?  All suggestions are welcome and the majority will decide the fate of the group!  Thanks fan nation.

Shanahan Guarantees Playoffs?

A couple of days ago during a sports talk radio interview, Mike Shanahan said that the Broncos will not miss the playoffs for a third straight year!  One of the announcers asked Shanahan if he was making a "Guarantee"? Mike responded with it sure sounds like a guarantee don't it?  Well, after watching the first preseason game of the year and the Broncos loss to the Texans.  I wonder if Mike will take back his gurantee or if he thinks that the Broncos will still make the playoffs?  I believe that Mike Shanahan believes that he's got a playoff contender, but…
