Rage Against the Machine Rocks The D.N. C.
Rage Against The Machine and local Denver Band The Flobots rocked out at a free concert at the Denver Coliseum here yesterday. The concert was in support of the group "Iraq War Veterans Against The War" and was followed by a peaceful rally and march by about 3,000 people. The procession walked a few miles from the Coliseum to the Pepsi Center where the Democratic National Convention is being held. The protestors against the war were led by Rage frontman Zach de la Rocha and former Marine Lance Cpl. Jeff Key who was one of many veterans protesting the Iraq war. It was the biggest protest/rally by a long list of demontrators all week long, but it was also the most peaceful. Later from the real world...
