Much as Oden wants to keep playing with Conley, I really don't think it would be a deal-breaker if he goes somewhere else. I was excited by what I saw last year from Sergio Rodriguez and wonder whether he'd be a better long-term solution at the point than either Conley OR Jack.

Maybe we could throw Darius Miles in that deal.

Jack and Randolph to Atlanta for the #3 pick, aka Conley?

Some thougths about the Blazers having the #1 pick:

1. David Stern is sweating bullets wishing this would go away. I think he wants to get the NBA the Hell out of the Northwest, and this is gonna make it tough. Greg Oden in Portland with all that Nike money, with no tea in the eastern Conference picking higher than third -- nigthmare for david. Dream come true, howeer, for us.

2. Kevin Pritchard is going to be bombraded with offers to trade the pick. This time, though, he'll listen politely and say "No".

3. Oden's makretability is enormous, and presetns the unique opportunity to have a core lineup in 2008 of young, exciting talent. I dram of abacklcurt of Sergio and Roy, with Oden and Aldridge up front and Udoka at the 3 providing the defenisve spark and presence he has shown himself good at. I know everyone screams "Journeyman" when they look at Uwe, but with that level of offensive talent around him don't underestimate the value of a defensive scraper at the 3.
