Hello and welcome back one and all. Keeper has come out of his FanNation blogging retirement to bring you some of the decade's top goals. Keep in mind that this is not a competition, just a celebration. These goals were brought to my attention by various sites such as ESPNsoccernet, Fox Soccer, and Youtube. I did not witness any of these goals in the first six years of the decade because my fandom did not start before then. So if I leave anything off, let me know and I will do my best to add it to this. 2009-2010 UEFA Champions League Preview

After a long four month hiatus, the UEFA Champions League is set to officially begin. This year's qualification system did change a bit, but the format from here on out is still the same. 32 sides -- 8 groups of 4 teams each -- representing a total of 18 nations will partake in the most prestigious of club competitions this year. 16 of these clubs will move onto the knockout stages. Serie A is set to begin a year in transition this weekend. In fact, this may be the last year for the Italian Serie A, as the league is set to break away from the lower leagues and reformat the competition into something more resembling the structure for Barclay's Premier League.
