Why I left Diehard101.com

Because it was really a lame site, filled with much lame people (FNers excluded) and I really felt no reason to continue. Sure, I had my "parking spot" reserved, but geez, that site is so horribly lame it did even feel worth it to continue to be there. When I first discovered the site, through RUGator's blog, I thought it might be neat. You know what? It wasn't. It was lame. Many of the people who came on after the first onslaught of disgruntled FNers were pretty lame too. Sure, there were a couple of new people there who I thought would be pretty useful contributers if they were on FN. But they are not. They are on Diehard101, the Leader in Lameness.

Our last "True Media Story"...at least, for awhile

     Fear not, troops. It's just that until we get the "FN Magazine" group off the ground, none of us will be able to contribute anything to it. Once we do, however, my little "TMS" segment moves there.

     So, I hope this tidbit I write this week holds you over until then. It's not the one I wanted to do, though. But, this one (I hope) is better.

     How does one draw a straight line from an Italian inventor, to a huge conglomerate?? Allow me to connect the dots...and dashes...

Strangely, I logged onto FN Monday morning and saw something that has not occurred to my account since the adoption of the new Fanmail/GroupMail thing. It read (1/1). Its not as if I don't belong to a lot of FN groups either - I'm no Dyhard, but I've got a pretty good list. So after I checked in and read my one personal fanmail (a Saturday TD look-see from Djroxalot - sorry DJ too late) it was 0/1 then about 15 minutes later I check in and the unthinkable happened. No mail at all. Wow. It didn't last, which I was actually glad of. By noon it was back to 1/5 and I felt ok again.
