A Footnote to History- The St. Louis Cardinals

Can the Cardinals do it again this year? The answer is yes. The Cards are down on their luck this season and seemingly don't have their heads in the game. We can all understand this, because it is one of the worst seasons emotionally in Cardinals history. Losing Josh Hancock, one of the best lockeroom guys on the team, and then dealing with everything that has surfaced since seems almost unimaginable. What the Cardinals need right about now is a lift from one of the veterans. Jim Edmonds, Albert Pujols, and Jason Isringhausen were all around the year when D.K. passed. Look what that team…

I just wanted to say hello to everyone in the group. I just joined up to show support for my team after our disappointed 2007 season. Just remember guys, we have had one of the best decades in Cardinals history. This is only the second time since 1999 that we have not made it to the playoffs. I for one am still very proud to be a dedicated fan to such a great baseball organization that seems to truly care about its fans. Next year will be exciting because we are going to have some new faces on the field and in the front office. I am confident we can have a very competitive year in 2008!
