Eric Piatkowski was born in Steubenville, Ohio. The 6'6" G/F was one of the best players in the history of the small town.  Anyways, he played ball at the University of Nebraska. While at Nebraska, he chose #52 because,  "The fifties were the largest size uniform and that was the only one that would fit me. So I ended up with 52." He has since become just the 3rd player in the history of Nebraska basketball to have their number retired.  He was aquired by the Clippers after being drafted by Indiana with the 15th overall pick in 1994.
