August is the best time to get out on the waters and fish for one of those monster "Musky"....Usually at this time of year they travel from cover to cover.  "Prowling" for prey as they do so....  A good Musky jig works best.  Try one called the "Blue Fox Musky Buck".  Have fun.....Until next time on "Angler Nation"..... So....  When's the best time to go trout fishin?  The best thing to do is wake up at 5 AM... Try and be on the stream before the sun breaks over the horizon...  Once at your favorite spot, sit down for a few minutes....  Take some time to observe the water in front of you... Listen to the sounds of nature...  You're probably the only one one the steam...  Tie on your bait...  Careful not to scare the fish...  Toss your line in the water...  Trying not to make a big splash...  If there is a fish in that spot, you're as good as…

This is a rather new species of hybrid bass introduced over the past few years.  The "White Bass" has done fairly well when stocked in lakes all over North America.  In fact, most bass fishermen have caught at least one of these wonderful creatures.  Will virtually attack the same lures as the small mouth.  However, some species may prefer a flourescent orange color on lures.  White bass are good little fighters in the water.  Some can get fairly large as well, depending on the lake in which u are fishin.  Generally speaking, the bigger the lake,…

bought and cooked some frozen tuna steaks from walmart today, they were thinner then I thought, but they were pre marinated and overall not too bad, about $6 for 2 steaks.
