NY.METS 62 & 56. The Mets are playing well and just 2 gb are in a good position to win their league and head for the post season. The spine of the batting are pretty consitant with HRs and RBIs and the pitching though still not great are getting the wins. I am confident the league is attainable and come the post season i think this team can come in to there own. NY.YANKEES 63 & 56. I have been to a lot more Yankees games this season, though this seem to be a bizarre statement i think the Yankees are in a better position team wise than the Mets. Yes…

NY METS 51 & 44. For once the all star game ( which i will be attending ) has come at the wrong time for the Mets, 0.5 gb and a streak of 9 wins the Mets are on fire. There position at the moment is not exactly where i thought they would be after a poor(ish) start and with all the off field problems, but i hope this could be signs of things to come. The pitching is now starting to gel, but it is the form of the six leading batsmen in this run that is the really pleasing aspect, particully Beltran and Delgardo. N.Y METS 35 & 36. What's going on with this team and more importantly the management. No one could fail to notice what occured at the end of last season, but this season to sack Willie Randolph is just a complete joke not only why it was done, but the way it was done. I think that Wilpon needs to take a long hard look at himself and how he promotes the team he owns. In my opinion he deserves the utmost contempt and should not be allowed to be near the MLB never mind owning a team, this guy has made the Mets a laughing stock.Though on the field the teams…
