My True Feelings

May 31, 2008Well, this is my first attempt to write down my feelings involving my absolute love of Pittsburgh Sports and the ups and downs that come with being a Pittsburgh Sports Fan. Obviously there have been a great deal of bright days in my life so far in regards to the successes of the sports teams here. I have witnessed the Penguins win not one but two Stanley Cup Titles in the early 90's and I watched in excitement as the Steelers won Super Bowl XL(40) back in February of 2006 which coincidentally was the same year I married my wonderful wife Kaz. The following link is to an article that goes on to explain in pretty decent detail why no one player in the NHL today will be able to break the vast majority of Wayne Gretzky's records.  And of course as all articles do they allow users to comment on said article.  The clueless person who had posted last when I read the article is trying to make a point why Ovechkin is better then Sidney and how he will adjust the "minor" discrepancy or his career goal shooting percentage.  My question is how will he ever manage to fix that flaw when he has never met a shot…

Hey pens fans, be classy about the Avery injury.. even if you're happy to see him lose his spleen, because It's What Gary Roberts Would Do. ``There's hockey and then there is life and your health. You don't wish that on anybody,'' Roberts said. ``I don't know Sean personally away from the rink. Obviously, we've had our comments throughout the media, but truthfully when it comes to this kind of stuff you just hope that he makes a full recovery.''
