-Stephen VanTreese from Lawrance North HS (IN) who went from being in the Top 20 of his '09 class to being out of the Top 150 altogether, might opt to walk-on @ Indiana. He does have an offer from the Irish but, you have to decide playing for free or play for your favorite team you have watched your whole life.

When at first seeing the official press conference it made me feel good. I immediately liked him. He seemed to have an idea of what he was getting him self into. If you can't bring-it what it takes to be an indiana coach. He could always get players to come to Marquette, even out of Indiana (Dominic James). He has the ability to develop talent (Dwayne Wade). He knows how to coach, even as good as Wade was he had a mediocre team, saying that Wade was far from a finished product. Players we need in the "09 class:
PG John Wall (more of a true PG than Rose or Jennings)
SG/SF Lance Stephenson (watching him play as a Soph. in some all-star games he is ready to play in the NBA as a Junior)
PF Stephan Van Treese (this is an important recruit to get. He is the best player in the state in the "09 class. We need them to stay in-state)
I would love to have PF Jamil Wilson as well but we only have so many scholarships left.
