Come on, mambers of the laxx fanatics group. This group is really inactive and it is only three people who are doing all of the blogging and nobody else is leaving comments. A review of the game curtesy of insidedge.com 1st Quarter  We're jumping right into the 1st Quarter of the Johns Hopkins-Duke matchup,. ABout 6 minutes to go in the quarter exactly, and JHU is up 1-1 after goals by Kevin Huntley and Zack Greer respectively. Typical mythodical Blue Jays against a Duke team that will need to up the tempo through this game to get a win. Lets see how this plays out. Lacriosse started out in New York as a small sport played by hundreds of people at one time and they were alllowed to kill each other. It was played by Native Americans with hand made sticks and the goals were 500 feet apart. Also the game lasted for more than a week. The sport was even more grueling, for the people who played wore nothing but a cloth and had a stick to prtect themselves from the hrash condidtions and the other players on the opposing team hitting you with their stick and beating you to death to gain an advantage.
