The Texas Rangers bats were great, but surprisingly it was the pitching that is the story of this game. After Kason Gabbard threw a pitch high and inside, close to Richie Sexson's head. Sexson lost his cool then, he threw his helmet at Gabbard then tackled him starting a bench clearing brawl. Sexson was ejected afterwards. After that incident, Gabbard walked Miguel Cairo,who replaced Sexson, then allowed an infield single to shortstop Yuniesky Betancourt before being pulled. Later it was announced he was pulled because of the bruises on his legs from the fight.…
