Team Fantasy Preview: Tennessee Titans

Coaching Changes:

Norm Chow leaves after an unimpressive stint as the offensive coordinator and is replaced by Mike Heimerdinger.  Heimerdinger was previously the offensive coordinator for Tennessee from 2000 to 2004.  Looking at those offenses should give us a very good idea of what to expect in 2008.  In 2000-2004 Tennessee ran the ball 486 times for 1864 yards per season.  They threw 514 times for 3528 yards per season.

Team Fantasy Preview: Carolina Panthers

O-Line:  The Panthers drafted T Jeff Otah in the first round who will likely start at Right Tackle.  Jordan Gross will move to Left Tackle which he has really never played, and LT Travelle Wharton will move to Guard.  The Guard position was vacated by Mike Wahle who left for Seattle.  Center Justin Hartwig was signed by Pittsburgh will be replaced by backup, Ryan Kalil.

There are quite a few changes here, but individually, these are decent players.  It may be a little rough at the start of the season, but as the year progresses they should improve.  Look for Carolina to be more of a second-half team.

Team Fantasy Preview: Jacksonville Jaguars

Coaching Changes:

Defensive Coordinator Mike Smith moved on to coach Atlanta and was replaced by Gregg Williams who left Washington after he was passed over for the Head Coach position.  This should not make a dramatic difference for the team good or bad.  Williams is a good coach who runs a similar 4-3 scheme.

O-Line:

Jacksonville has tremendous continuity on the offensive line.  All 5 starters are returning, and all 5 are between the ages of 26 and 31.  This makes Jacksonville an extremely safe bet to see similar production from the running and passing game.
