     Why, oh why couldn't it have been Al who got canned?? Oh no, we can't have that. No, he fires his son...     Yep, Mike Groh--the former Virginia QB, who wound up being his old man's QB coach--was made to walk the plank along with 2 other assistants today as the sacrificial lambs for Al's ineptitude of a 5-7 season.     Amazing, isn't it?? You'd think it was Dan Snyder running the athletic department @ UVA, and not Craig Littlepage. At this stage, I'm not so sure it isn't the "Prima Danna"…

     Wouldn't it be just my luck to watch this Virginia team run the table, when all I want is to shove Al Groh out the door??     Hell of a comeback today against UNC. I mean, it was 7-0 Carolina going into the 4th quarter...who knew Peter Verica would be this damned good when it mattered??      Just when I'm ready to write Al Groh's obituary @ UVA...they start winning. Drat!!!     Here I had it figured they would lose to Maryland big. OOPS!!! Then, seeing as East Carolina was making a stink about horning in on the BCS picture, I thought they'd just roll over Virginia.
