Hello, FN users I am your host YanksFan. We will go over many things including news, stats, standings, and an update on All-Star Game voting. So here it is:
We will start with league leaders:
AL:
AVG: Milton Bradley .330
HR: Josh Hamilton 19
RBI: Hamilton 76*
So, as you see the Rangers are leading the AL stats in the triple crown numbers for hitting.
W- Joe Saunders/ Cliff Lee 11**
strikeouts- C.C. Sabathia 107
ERA Cliff Lee 2.34
So, in pitching it is the Indians that lead or have a share of the lead
NL:
AVG: Chipper Jones .394*
HR: Dan Uggla 23*
RBI: Adrian Gonzalez 66
A variety of leaders in the NL all from differents teams
W- Brandon Webb 11**
Ks- Edison Volquez 110*
ERA- Volquez 1.71*
So, Volquez is doing great and that is why he is the leader in Ks and ERA.

So, those were some stats now here is the standings:
Starting with the AL East
The Red Sox lead those Tampa Bay Rays by a .5 gm and the Yanks trail by 5.5 gm out, while those Orioles are only 7 gm out while the Jays are 10.5 gm out
Over to the AL Central
The White Sox lead the Twins by a .5 gm and the new and improved Tigers by 5. For the Indians and Royals, they are out of it both 7.5 gm out and struggling.
For the AL West:
Of, course the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim are in the lead, the Oakland A's are the closest at 4.5 gm out, while the Rangers are 8.5 gm out, and the Mariners are really struggling 19.5 gm out! (YUCK)
On to the NL East:
Everyone but the 12 gm out Nats are in the NL East race, the Phils leading the division, lead the Marlins, Braves, and Mets by 4 gm or less.
Over to the NL Central:
Yes, the Cubs are leading the division over the Cardinals by 4.5 gm and the Brew Crew by 5.5. While, the other 3 teams (Astros, Pirates, Reds) all over 10 gm out.
Finally, the NL West:
The D-Backs (the only team with a winning % of over .500) only lead the Dodgers by 3.5 gm and the GIANTS by 6 gm. The Rockies and Padres, the two teams the fought for a playoff spot last year are 8/8.5 gm out!
