By Michael Rubin, Domer Sports ReportEdited By Mark AllenNotre Dame Football2009 RecruitingCharlie Weis might be in his office right now planning on how to take care of the Naval Academy and become bowl eligible this coming Saturday, but in the back of his mind he has to be thinking about the talent that he has coming in next year. Five of the Irish's 2009 verbal commitments were invited to play in the prestigious Army All-American Bowl in January. The Irish's most recent commit, Shaquelle Evans (WR) will join Cierra Wood (RB) and Chris Watt (OG) on the West roster and Zeke Motta (OLB)…

By Michael Rubin, Domer Sports ReportNotre Dame Men's BasketballRecruitingCoach Mike Brey and the Irish received a commitment today from Thomas Knight. Knight, a 6'8 245lb power forward/center from Dixfield, Maine, chose Notre Dame over Rutgers, Northeastern, Maine and Davidson.Knight is a very good scorer down on the blocks and also brings a lot of strength to his game. Well, Irish fans, in a little less than one month the mighty USC Trojans will venture to South Bend to administer the annual beating to the Fighting Irish and their fat slob of a coach. USC may not be in the national championship hunt this year but we can always count on putting the Irish in their place!

That was a giant win against hawai. It proves to the rest of the country that we deserved to be in a bigger bowl game.

Charlie Weis is a disgraceful foul-mouthed slob. Pete Carroll beats the Fat Man like a drum for seven - soon to be eight - consecutive years. When I look at successful NCAA coaches like Jim Tressel, Urban Meyer, Mack Brown, Bob and Mike Stoops, I see character and class. Why a proud and storied university like Notre Dame would hire this "abomination of pork" boggles my mind.
