1. Is the starting rotation deep enough?The pending Braden Looper deal might help change the answer to this question to the affirmative. Without Looper, the Brewers had five viable starters but no experienced depth except for Chris Capuano, who probably won't be ready until May because of his left elbow rehab. With Looper, the Brewers could shift Seth McClung to some sort of relief role, but still have him ready to step into the starting rotation if needed. Yup, thats right the Brewers' playoff hopes rest in the hands of the Chicago Cubs.Entering the last week of the season the Mets hold a 1.5 game advantage over the Brewers in the wild card race. The Cubs' schedule? A 7 game road trip starting with 4 in New York and finishing with 3 hopefully meaningful games in Milwaukee. The other games? Mets at home vs Florida to finish the calander year and Milwaukee begins on Tuesday at home vs Pittsburgh. First things first, the Brewers will need to sweep the Pirates at home to earn some sort of momentum heading into undoubably the biggest series…

It was bad, but I'm taking some solace in that if we could have made a few catches at some key moments we could have gotten out of some innings and maybe some games would have turned out differently.

i swear this team is hard to figure out
they looked real good today and picked up a game on the mets in the process.......... for the first time since the crew joined the nl im going to be a cubs fan and hope they sweep the mets , than lay down for the crew on the weekend. crazy that our playoff hopes are all centered on what the cubs do.
