The 102 million dollar man of Pittsburgh has this to say about his city: "Pittsburgh is perfect for me. I dont want to go anywhere else. The first job I ever had is the one I have right now. Its working all right for me."    Well thanks Ben, its working all right for us Steeler fans too. Hey, Big Ben has such respect within the organization that when he called for a tall WR in the offseason, the Steelers drafted just that in the second round in Limas Sweed. The Steelers training camp has 4 WRs 6'3" or taller.    If you want to…
I would like to formally announce that I am the first FN'er to bring the Nation the news of Gene Upshaw's death.  He passed away this morning at the age of 63.  The following is from ESPN.com Hall of Fame football player and longtime NFL Players Association executive director Gene Upshaw has died.Upshaw, 63, had been fighting pancreatic cancer.Clear Channel Online first reported the story early Thursday morning. ESPN has confirmed the report.Upshaw played offensive guard with the Oakland and Los Angeles Raiders from 1967 until 1981. He was a seven-time Pro Bowl selection…
SteelersTalk out of the Steelers camp is the depth at RB this week. Rashard Mendenhall and Willie Parker may not be Franco Harris and Rocky Bleier from the 1970's, but according to scouts it wouldnt be unheard of for each of them to top 1000 yards this season. The Steelers have also chosen their 3rd down backs, Mewelde Moore, a FA from the Vikings and Gary Russell a second year guy. Carey Davis has won the job at FB and he is a three tool player there: he can run, block, and catch. In the preseason opener, Parker had 3 carries for 20 yards, Mendenhall had 7 for 34…

I agree w/ everything you said Dolfin fan
The Steelers looked great on Sunday. I know the Bengals were not much of an opponent but you never want a team to sneak up on you. I think if you watched the Dallas game they can put points on the board if you let them. Hines had that awesome block, sorry the guy got hurt but I love how he plays the game. Toughest wide receiver in the league if you ask me.

Pittsburgh looked very out of sink in the Buffalo game
The majority of voters at 50% predicted the Steelers to have an 8-8 season. Ouch.
Everybody now has super-member privileges, so please post blogs about anything Pittsburgh
