Here's the deal. I got six people plus me from the Atroo to sign up, and instead of plugging the holes with 3 people from FN, I decided to make it Atroo vs. FN and have 7 FN-but-not-in-the-Atroo users to join Fantasy Basketball. I'm asking the Haven first because these are the more basketball-smart people. If we can't get seven from here, I'll extend the invites to select FN users.It's on ESPN.com, and the draft isn't set because I'm waiting for a full league. I know most of the talk in basketball lately has been about the Redeem Team's quest for redemption and a Gold Medal. The USA came out victorious over Spain and reached their goal. For this blog though I have chosen to talk about some of the important games on the NBA schedule for 2008-2009. October 28th- Opening nightWhat more can you ask for on an opening night than the double header there is that night. Team U.S.A. Reaches its Goal By Winning Gold at Beijing

With the Beijing Olympics in the books and part of history, the central focus for the United States -- at least outside of the controversies swirling around Chinese involvement in genocide, 16-year old gymnasts that look 12, and the Georgia/Russia war -- was what will become of the Men's Basketball team, dubbed the "Redeem Team". The team itself named it such due to the disappointing and embarrassing finish to the 2004 Athens games they suffered, which involved losing three-times.
