That's right....your Texas State Bobcats mens basketball team is in Wyoming Wednesday night for a game at the "Dome of Doom."If any of you guys aren't busy cooking turkey go over there and support your Bobcats.  They are a long way from home on Thanksgiving so a little "home cooking" would do them good.This should be a winable game for the Bobcats.  The team has shown a lot of improvement and returns 10 letterman and looks to have a great season.  All they need is your help.Eat em up Cats

A 48-45 overtime win puts the Texas State Bobcats back in the FCS playoffs for the first time since 2005.  Texas State ends the regular season with an 8-4 record and wins the Southland Conference Championship, thus getting the auto-bid into the playoffs.  Central Arkansas had a better record but because they are still an FCS transition team they were not elligible for the playoffs or the Southland Conference Championship.We will find out Sunday at 7pm CST where the Bobcats will play next Saturday.  There is a slim chance the Bobcats could get a home game but more likely it will…

After starting the season 1-1, coming back to beat D-2 Angelo State and falling to FBS SMU in a game that the Bobcats were capable of winning were it not for 5 turnovers leading to 23 points the Bobcats finally get a road win.  Those have been few and far between since 2005 and it did come easy or pretty.  Northern Colorado scored on the first play of the game, then went down 21 to 7 only to come back to tie the game at halftime.  Late in the 4th the Bobcats regained the lead 38-35 and were it not for a fumble by Northern Colorado on the Bobcat 1 yard line might have ended up…
