Mike Ditka was one of the best coaches, not of all-time, but of his time of course. He was hired by the NFL creator and all-time legend George Stanley Halas in 1982-1983, the same year that Halas passed away. Ditka wanted to win a Super Bowl for the memory of George Halas and finally did in 1985. It was Super Bowl XX against the New England Patriots. The Patriots got out matched and throttled by a score of 46-10. Nobody could beat the Bears that day. He felt sorry for not having the opportunity to give Walter Payton the ball for a touchdown.
