Another ending to another crappy year of racing. Single file, follow the leader and hope to beat Hendrick's has become the norm for yet another year. The rules were changed when Matt kenseth ran away with the title. The rules were changed when Rousch had all five cars in the chase. The rules were changed when Tony Stewart didn't make the chase. Does anyone feel the rules will change next year after Hendrick gets his fourth consecutive title and his drivers finish one, two, three? I surely don't. Low attendance at the tracks…

The Aaron's 499 at Talladega Superspeedway is 171 days away but I can already predict the results.
At some point during the race - most likely the last 30 laps - somebody in the middle of a four-wide pack will blow a tire or push the car in front of him a little too much or lift off the throttle at the wrong moment.
This will trigger the Big One, sending cars wildly spinning, crashing and flipping. Wreckers will haul a parade of mangled cars back to the garage.
Drivers will emerge relatively unscathed from the infield medical center and tell the TV audience that somebody has to do…
