So I just want to give a quick pat on the back to myself as I point out that I predicted/demanded that the Leafs would get 4 points out of the 3 games last week. Our boys did 1 better and got 5. So kudos to them and of course myself for this accomplishment.
It seems that the era of the Monster has begun, to which I say thank goodness! I never liked the Toskala deal to start, but if your getting a "quality young starter" then ok. Mind you this was the second year in a row we gave up a prospect/pick for a quality young goalie (see Raycroft). Looking back how did Ferguson Jr keep his job so…

A Kessel Sighting?

So after what can only be viewed as a successful road trip, in which the first win of the season was secured and Jonas made his triumphant return. The team earned 5 points in 5 games and for the most point looked pretty good in those games with some great late comebacks. And now we have the long awaited debut of one Phil Kessel.
Hopefully the team can continue to build on these small success and ride a new wave of confidence with Phil's debut. This isn't a task to great once you consider that they play Tampa (4-4-4), Carolina (2-8-3), and Detroit (5-4-3) this week. The Leafs should get at…

This post is more of a obligation than honour. I don't want to talk about them, and I'm sure you don't really want to read about them. What do you do though, I mean you can't start/join a fan group than ignore it because the team sucks.
