One semi-final matchup is almost complete.[URL]http://www.fannation.com/throwdowns/show/528182[/URL] Barring a major comeback, it appears as though Yoda will be in the finals.Chosen1 has disappeared, so I am trying to find a replacement.  I had MMT taking on BurghHockey12 to have the winner take on Dex in the next semi-finals, but for whatever reason, MMT backed out when he got the topic/opponent.If I cannot find a suitable sub to challenge Burgh as the sub, I will be giving Dex a bye to the finals to face Yoda.  It isn't ideal, but I also think it is unfair that someone just…

1.  DKMF challenges Fvkasm2x : "Starting 5" + goalie whose first or last name starts with a Vowel.2.  Argos challenges Chosen1: Rank the careers: Modano, Sakic, Jagr, Hull, Robitaille3.  Kingeraa challenges Serial Dex: What 3 NHL teams would benefit from Olympic sized ice?4.  Patsfan challenges Yoda: Remove 2 players inducted into the HOF in the last decade. Please try for 2 changes!!!  Let's make these original and "difficult."  Anyone can simply make 1 change. I will post the TD links here once they are started.

Finalizing tourney set up

1. SeedingSeedings are done and topics are handed out (but you haven't been informed yet).   Tomorrow before I go to bed (probably around 11pm Pacific) I will Fanmail the lower seed their topic TD.In order to do the seedings, I grouped everyone into 2 groups based on overall activity (TD's, comments and blogs).  As indicated in my previous post, the people with the lowest overall activity gets to start the TD.  They will get the topics and have the choice of side to argue, challenging their opponent.   I then drew names out of a hat to match up 1 person from each…

Don't forget to go to the TD's and vote guys... some have only 2 votes per side after several arguments (two are even complete already). Also, I will be having 2 subs step up to challenge Chosen/Dex if their opponents don't show up by the end of my work day today.
