The Anaheim Ducks have annouced the signing of Mathieu Schneider to a two year deal. Now this can mean one of two things for the Ducks. One, it could mean that Scotty Nieds is hanging them up and going out on top, and Mathieu is the replacement for Scotty and Prongs and Beauchmin will play the top line for the Ducks. Secondly, it means the Ducks owners have given Burkey free range on spending and have brought in another stud d-man to give the Ducks what has to be the Best NHL Defense in the history of the NHL. How about those Ducks, first team from California to win the cup, and we even gave a few teams some years on us in a head start. First team from the west coast in almost 90 years.
