In this post I will be posting my 7 favorite songs since the year 2000.
 
For the most part, the 2000's were a dark period in Country music history.  A lot of pop influence was mixed with the music, and we're just now starting to get back to real Country music.  But there were some diamonds mixed in with the coal. 
 
I won't say anything about the songs, just posting a video and I hope you listen, and feedback would be appreciated.
 
Note- Some songs that would make the list will be left off to post some lesser known songs.

It's Thursday night here in the marble capital of the world, and I've built up a decent sized buzz, and I think it's about time for another DP&S post.  It's been a minute since the last one.
No real theme here.  Just gonna post my 7 favorite songs of all time.  Hope you like em, if you don't, sounds like a personal problem to me.
Not gonna type much more.  Not gonna type a song description.  All I want is for someone to listen, and if one person likes it, I'll consider it a success.

We've Lost a Legend- RIP Earl Scruggs

One of my music heros was found dead yesterday.  Natural causes, which is expected for an 88 year old man.  I'm sure most of you know the name, some probably recognize a few of the songs, and maybe a few know some of the songs that weren't tv show themes or featured in movies.
 
The man of course is legendary bluegrass musician and banjo player, Earl Scruggs.
 
Earl along with Lester Flatt formed the most recognizeable group in the history of bluegrass.  The duo recorded countless classics together.  Lester on the flattop, Earl on the banjo, both doing vocals,…
