Chances are, some of you are not going to like what's posted. Before you do, I'd encourage you to ask athletes like Dwight Howard, David Robinson, Gary Carter, Albert Pujols, or John Smoltz where they would be if they didn't know Jesus. At least consider some of these verses.
1 John 1:9 'If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.'
James 4:17 'Anyone, then, who knows the good he ought to do and doesn't do it sins.'
Ephesians 4:32-5:1a 'Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you. Be imitators of God.'
Lastly,
Matthew 16:26 'What good will it be for a man if he gains the whole world yet forfeits his soul? Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul.'
