Hi there. I have a house of environ. conscience, anti-gun, peace loving (wannabe Canadian) men. My husband went to the same school in Canada as Steve Nash, where Steve's dad was the soccer coach. My hubby then moved on to England. My 13 year old son is great friends with Chris Mullin jr. (SF Warriors) and they play on a travelling soccer team. He is constantly being asked to the Warriors games and will only go (tonight) if they are playing the Suns. He sits in the stands proudly wearing his Nash jersey. Big Chris is so great, he let little Chris follow the Suns around one year, before the game getting autographs for my son's birthday. Is there a website for Steve's fan club? I would love for my son to write this inspirational Mr. Nash a letter. 13th birthday is this Saturday 3/31 and the only presents requested are...bball hoop, new bball and Steve Nash poster (placed next to Steven Gerrard--Liverpool soccer). Soccer coach ain't so happy :)

Hi. Not sure where to post this on the web, but just wanted to say how much I admire Steve Nash. Not only for his anti-war stance, and willingness to take flack for that, but also because he showed some kind of incredible courage and skill last night in the final playoff game vs the Spurs. To make that 4th quarter run, that way, took heart. He showed everyone that winning the playoffs is different from being the best, and while the former would be nice, the latter is pretty **** good. Thanks Steve, we're with you.

To the "Spursoldier" dude, you don't know **** about basketball if you talk like that about Steve Nash. He's hell of a lot better than the whole Spurs' team put together! He could beat them with one hand tied behind his back. And waht do you have against Canadians!! I agree with his opinion about the war. You would agree as well if you were over there in Iraq where there's bombs going off around you and innocent people getting killed. You're the****, not Nash. You talk all this trash on the currently best player in the NBA, hell, I don't even think you would be good enough to play in the WNBA!!
Spurs aren't going to win next season either. The only reason they beat the Suns was because of that "****" who fouled Nash. He was scared that they were going to be beaten by a mile!! What a chicken ****!! And, you dumb ****, Spurs didn't win the "World" title, they won national. Haha, you're a dumbass.

I am a High School coach and we will be hosting the 2009 Provincial Championships. I have invited former Canadian National team member Shawn Swords to be our quest speaker. He is now coaching at Laurentian University. He played on the National team with Steve. I am trying to get Steve to write an introduction about Shawn that i can use at the players banquet.
