Santana @ 7yr/$150million will not be matched by the Tribe. It just won't. I honestly can't blame them as they are in the poorest major city in the usa and people just can't afford the tickets and that is the sad truth and i don't see thingsa turning around with our economy here.

I really hate it when people make statements about how Cleveland is the poorest major city and don't really know the facts. Sure the actual city of Cleveland is poor. However, the outlying areas of Cleveland are very wealthy. That is where most of the fans com from.

Like most baseball teams most of the fans live in the close areas by the city, not the city itself

looks like the tribe is trying to rebuild again. We rebuilt in 2004 but then we go and trade the guys that are starting to become good players
