"After more than a decade of false promises and speculation, Axl Rose and his Guns N' Roses bandmates have finally delivered their long-fabled album Chinese Democracy to Geffen Records. The record's final price tag is estimated to be a cool $13 million."

about time, did they intentionally wait until no one cared?
and 13 mil on an album? sheeeeeet
Prediction: It will sell better than any other record in 2008, next to maybe Metallica's, and suck just a bit more than Metallica's.
(I have zero confidence in either pending release)
lqtm...You think Metallica's album will be the 1st or 2nd highest selling record this year? Oh boy.
If you dont you underestimate the magnitude of their fanbase. Fool.
I was only bringing them up because both bands were prominent in the 80's (at least their albums were).
Not that that matters, anyway... no one really sells albums much anymore. People just get it off iTunes and such, pyracy and all.
UGH...
I cant even go one day without mentioning Metallica somewhere or to someone.
I need an intervention...
Metallica won't come close to the top selling album of '08.
Chinese Democracy will probably hit huge out of the gate, but when tail off wildly like a terrible movie sequel after opening weekend.
Neither will be anywhere near the top selling album. That'll go to Kanye West or M.I.A. or Jack's Mannequin or Weezer or Mariah Carey or Draft Punk. Or some siht like that.
