This is a tough break for both Holland and Babel. He was fantastic the last half of last season and figured this to be his breakout international tournament. I don't think he would have been starting, but he would have been Holland's #1 sub and he would have been perfect in that role (late pace and shooting, etc).

Things just got even tougher for Holland in a tough group....

The fact that he tore his ligaments in training makes it worse as Liverpool will be mad.

They still have yet to name a replacement, but they do have the depth to manage

I hope they bring up Maduro...he should have been in the team anyway. I don't think they need much more help up front and I really like Maduro. Maybe Bouhlarouz too...
