I am soooo tired of getting messages from this user. I don't know this person and I'm not interested in blogs on soccer. And yet, when I log on to this site, I have at LEAST two messages EVERY DAY. Isn't there anything you can do to prevent this?
there is already enough spam on this website; i was simply trying to get away from some of it....there is no need to offer up a wisecrack as a response to a complaint.
Look, you can't stop spam. If you get 2 mails from him, click "check" "check" and "delete selected"....or "X" and "X"....
I get around 50 FM a day, most of it is spam, and I can look and delete them in about 1 minute.
i responded to one of Keeper's fanmails and told him (nicely, mind you) that i no longer wish to receive his emails about soccer, etc. since then, nothing, not one single email from this user. apparently, you can stop spam....at least for the time being anyway.
It's a losing battle though.

get used to it or get off this site, anyway 2 fanmails is nothing I get like 100 fanmails a day!
I used to get twice as much fanmail as I do now. I looked at the groups I was in and weened out the ones I'm not active in. It made a huge difference. Yeah, I said WEENED!!! What about it?!?!?
Ya like Hawkeye said, cutting down on your groups really cuts down on your mail.
People are here to share their work as a community. That's a huge part of what Fannation is about. Noone is trying to inconvenience anyone else. If you don't like group mail, you have the choice not to view it and it deletes itself.
