No im not talking about Monty Beisel, or Succup or even our favorite little mini Holmes at RB.

Im talking about Larry Johnson, we have to pull for the guy. Yes, he had some obvious slipups, runins, and issues. Yes, he's said he dosen't wanna be in KC in the past, and was way to talkative in interviews.

The reason we have to pull for him is that he's had 2 years of not alot of carries so the wear and tear from that 06/07 season isnt there anymore. The fact that he's not talking in interviews and when he does its a team concept not an LJ concept.

He's helping out in the KC community with different charity events with other team mates and with his own causes. He's trimmed down some and that will pay dividends once the season comes around. He's been working on his hands and blocking.

He's doing all the things a coach asks him to do and that is showing some leadership, the kind that this team needs, not the outspoken kind but the look at me and follow what im doing kind of leadership that will make Jamal Charles a gamer for 5 to 8 seasons to come.

So yes I cant help but pull for him. What about you?

Always have... until he said he wanted out. Now, it's up to him, if he produces and takes care of his jobs as given by the coaches, AND stays out of trouble, then I will be back on his side.

Yea... I'm with cballv... we do live in the show me state. Time for LJ to shut up and put up. Funny how he got all team oriented and butter wouldn't melt in his mouth once he figured out no one else in the league was ready to fawn all over him and pay him the kind of money KC is ready to spend. It's not too hard to believe the only reason he's making nice now is because it's the surest way to protect his money. He starts ripping off some big runs, and laying out a LB or two with a pass block and I'll give him credit then. Saying all the right stuff now don't mean $h#t. And if he gets in even ONE more incident involving any kind of violence on women, KC needs to cut him the very next day.

LJ is like any other HB in the leage when he wanted out he just wanted to win like the chiefs werent doing but now he has a chance to win so lets sit back and watch the fireworks
