The Cardinals clearly need to do something to upgrade the production they are getting out of the LF position. I know that Mark DeRosa was brought in partly for that purpose (if he wasn't to be playing third base), but consider these numbers. If this isn't Exhibit A for Mozeliak to go get another hitter, I don't know what is:


Rick Ankiel, last 11 games: 2 for 30 1 run, 1 RBI, zero HRs

Chris Duncan, last 11 games: 1 for 23 1 run, 1 RBI zero HRs


What else does Moz need to see?
