Here's an idea Met fans. Barry Bonds is just dying for someone to call. Jake Peavy would love to leave San Diego. In my eyes, the acquisition of either or both would only help this team. This team has done enough to hurt themselves. Johan and Pelfrey are our only two worhwhile pitchers. I doubt Omar would have to give away the farm to get him. Ditto with BondsAnd I don't want to hear any excuse about either one wanting too much money. Those idiots paid Perez and Maine, so why not Bonds or Peavy.
