Sunday, September 27 WASHINGTON REDSKINS
Sunday, October 4 at Chicago Bears
Sunday, October 11 PITTSBURGH STEELERS
Sunday, October 18 at Green Bay Packers
Sunday, October 25 ** BYE **
Sunday, November 1 ST. LOUIS RAMS
Sunday, November 8 at Seattle Seahawks
Sunday, November 15 at Minnesota Vikings

I'm thinking after the BYE there is a chance on November 1st to get the first win of the season?

Anyone know the record for the number of losses in a row?

Since there are so few Detroit fans, I looked this up...
29 losses in a row by Chicago Cardinals in 1942-43-1944

Well, from tyhe lack of replies, I guess no one cares about the Lions. Nothing new when your team goes 0-16.

July 31, 2009  03:49 PM ET

Lol............not many reply anymore..........they view, and go on, unless they think of something clever to say, like "Detroit Sucks",or "Romo is a ****"...........very clever and original.

I post message boards all the time, and I might as well be pissing in the wind, too, so you aren't the only one................:-

Your first win will most likely be the week you play St. Louis... although the Lions could shock Chicago.

July 31, 2009  07:00 PM ET

rams, seahawks, browns or bengals seem like thier best bets.

0-16 hurt but dont be suprised if they beat the saints, their not looking to good besides brees

Who will be the 4 losses then?

I want to see that game when they finally win. Technically they are 0-17 if you count the last game in 2007 season also. It's possible they can open with a win vs the Saints. My personal choice would be against the Bears or Vikings, Just getting a win is great but beating a division rival makes it more special. I predict they will get their first win vs the..... Bears.

I'd like to see them get the win in week 1 vs the Saints. Let's see if they have any pride and emotion. Sometimes, the emotion will carry a team that may not have the talent.

The lions will indeed go 12-4... the losses will be to the steelers on 10/11, the Packers on 10/18, the Vikings on 11/15, and the Ravens on 12/13. The counted-out, dis-credited, and under-appreciated Lions will prove a lot of things this year... and are finally headed in the right direction... They will win the division,... they will not make the superbowl (this year), but will next year... and they will have their first "Big Dance Rings" in the history of the franchise... come all yee band wagon jumpers... for the Lions are about to shed the lambs wool that has grown over the Millon era...

November 1st Rams at home is probably their best bet for the first win ... If they don't get it then , they will most likely have to wait til the Browns come to town 3 weeks later ...

The last 6 years the Lions have 2 more regular season wins than the Raiders.

The Raiders 22 wins 74 loses, Yikes!

The Lions 24 wins 72 loses.

See I found something nice to say about the Lions.
