With vams approching and starting within 2 weeks, I was wondering if anyone knew how the Giants were doing signing their draft picks, especially seeing that it seems like so few of the first rounders have been signed thus far, so I would guess they have not "slotted out" yet from a numbers persective, right? It seems that the other picks for other teams are equally as unsigned...

I know Andre Brown was signed, and I believe the Giants signed Maurice Evans, the DE from Penn State, but I am not sure about that.

I am curious because Hakeem Nicks & Ramses Barden would benefit immensely from being there from day 1, let alone Clint Sintim and William Beatty, not to mention all of them are likely to play very important roles this year, with some saying Nicks will/may push D Hix out of the starting lineup... and after seeing the way Hixon played down the stretch - not being able to get open, failed blocking assignments, etc - I am somewhat worried - unless he made some changes in the offseason none of us know about.

Any thoughts, or conrete info?
