Any chance the Mets are still in this? After tonite, they are only 6.5 games back of the wild card lead, and yes i know there are 7 teams ahead of them, but 6.5 games isnt too many and there is still a ton of season left. and after watching tonites game, its the first time in a long time i have seen a little fight in the mets. a little excitement. typically, they get down 2-0 or 3-1, and the game is over, but maybe they are finally turning it around. francouer has been great, the offense is clicking, and they are finally doing the small things right. not saying that the mets will be anywhere close to playing october baseball, but im still not ready to eliminate them quite yet.
