Blackhawks newest member has been suffering a tear in the rotator cuff of his right shoulder from last seasons playoffs with Detroit. Non-operative treatment isn't mending the injury so he is having surgery this Friday to correct it. The teams Head Physician says he will probably be out for about four months in order to heal 100 percent. You can find the Blackhawks official statement on the situation at:
