We should revisit talks before 7/31 4:01pm EST. We still have the pieces in place to get it done. My reasons below:

1. Preemptive: The Mets have to create an incentive for fans in order to make-up for the horrible inaugural stadium year and justify selling premium priced seats going forward. Omar needs to save his job, he created a smoke screen against Adam Rubens article and it back fired on him, now he lost his reputation.

2. Left-Handed Heavy:. The likely suitors in the post-season this year will be predominantly right-handed hitting teams in the Dodgers, Giants, Cards, Brewers, Cubs.

3. Halladay: He???s a sinker-baller, perfect for our hitters park.

4. Schilling: Have not had an ace, let alone a top-notch righty since Curt.

5. The Post-Season: Halladay, Hammels, Blanton, Lee (how???s that?)
